Dating. Understand that when a single father is ready to get back into the dating world, it wasn't a rash decision. Dealing with kids, having to get a babysitter, possibly organizing schedules with his ex … it's all just so much effort, with a payoff that affects his family more than it would ever affect you - unless it develops into more.

He probably doesn't want to focus on this huge step he's taking in his life, so don't add any more pressure on to his shoulders. Children. This might be a no-brainer, but his kids are the most important aspect of his life and you must understand that if you're trying to get in bed with a single dad. It isn't easy to have the worries of being a parent and then deal with dating. Be conscious about the children that are very much in the picture before getting too serious.

You can even play along, depending on the relationship, and talk dirty about getting sexual revenge in a way on his ex.
What does a single dad want? You should be asking yourself this before getting into bed with him, obviously, but you might not be able to get the answer straight from him. What he wants is a teammate that desires him. Sex is important to everyone, and a single dad just has his priorities in order more than most (usually). Balance. All in all, the balancing act that single dads in the dating world have to perform is something that could really break a person down. If he's having a good time with you, feel free to keep it up.
