When it comes to sexual experimentation, right now is the best time to be alive. There hasn’t been a time in recent history where same sex experimentation has ever been more socially acceptable. There has also never been a time in this millennium when people could openly talk about sexuality and feel as accepted as they currently do. Though we do live in a pretty progressive society, sometimes, we feel like we need to have a “reason” or an excuse to actually do what we want. If you’re one of those who needs to have one on hand, here are some good reasons to experiment with the same sex.
Can you think of other reasons to experiment with the same sex? Let us know below.
The Same Sex Will Understand Your Body Better. Think about it. Wouldn’t a woman know how to touch a woman the right way? Wouldn’t a man know what turns other men on? Experimenting with the same sex just seems like a good way to guarantee that you’ll have a big O.
No One Will Get Pregnant. Same sex experimentation can’t lead to pregnancy. It’s a biological fact. So, while you still need to use protection, you won’t need to worry about babies.

This Will Make “Never Have I Ever” Way More Interesting. And it will give you an excuse to drink beer!

You Might Orgasm. Orgasms are fun, and they actually can be healthy for you. So, why not experiment?
You Might Also Form A Stronger Bond With A Good Friend. Assuming that the person is a friend, you might be able to have a closer bond with them. It’s unlikely that many people will see that side of them aside from you - and that will make you stand out amongst their friends.

It Can Be A Lot More Discreet. No one really thinks of people of the same sex getting it on, even though it’s fairly common. This means that you can use your dorm rooms, a bathroom, or even a locker room to get it on…and no one will really be likely to think something’s up.

It Really Isn’t Weird. Almost everyone experiments with the same sex at one point in their life or another. There’s no shame in doing it. It’s really natural.
You’ll Be More Experienced. Though misogynists may think otherwise, there’s nothing wrong with being more sexually experienced. It helps you learn how to please partners better, and it will also help you feel more confident about being able to please others.

Experimentation Also Makes You Feel More Secure About Your Sexuality. One thing you’ll learn about human sexuality as you experiment is that sex isn’t black and white. Sex also isn’t something to feel ashamed of, nor is sex something that you should hide away. By experimenting, you’re embracing your sexual side…and that’s a good thing.
It Is A Thrill. People always find a thrill in trying out something new. Why not enjoy it?
You Might Understand Your Body Better. Experimenting with the same sex can lead to exploration that you didn’t see coming. Don’t be shocked if you find out you like a sex act you never thought you could enjoy.
Talking About LGBTQ Subjects Will Be Easier. A lot of people feel more understanding of LGBTQ issues if they have actually experimented with the same sex. It may actually be a good way for you to open up to discourse on the subject.

You Might Become More Open Minded. It’s easy to lash out at someone for doing something you’ve never tried before. A little experimentation might actually help you realize that it’s not bad or gross.
You Might Actually Enjoy It. You never know what you enjoy until you’ve tried it. You might be LGBTQ without even realizing it.
And…It Could Change Your Life. Some experiences actually do change the way a person looks at everything in life for the better. It might happen to you, but you’ll never know until you try it.
