Singapore - A man who made obscene noises and claimed he was orgasmic while under treatment by a woman dentist has been fined SIN$1 500 (about R7 000), news reports said on Thursday.
Odd-job worker Benjamin Lim Chy Meng, 38, pleaded guilty in district court to insulting the 28-year-old dentist's modesty, said The Straits Times.
Lim had gone to a polyclinic on July 10, 2006. While the dentist was scaling his teeth, he started making lewd remarks, moaning and groaning loudly while using his hands to caress his chest, the court heard.
The dentist kept scaling his teeth. A nurse was also present in the room.
Lim quieted down when the dentist started polishing his teeth.
She made a police report after he left.
Pleading for leniency, Lim's lawyer told the court on Wednesday that it was Lim's first visit to the polyclinic. - Sapa-DPA
